Akwesasne's modern arena has been the home ice for The Akwesasne Jr. B Wolves since they were a Midget team in 1997-1998. Since the opening of the A'nowara'ko:wa Arena in 1995 the arena has hosted such events as:

- 8th Annual North American Fur Trade Conference
- President's Cup Sr. "B" Lacrosse National Championships
- Nations Cup Native Senior Lacrosse Championship
- Founder's Cup Jr. "B" Lacrosse Championships
- "Race Against Drugs" (Returning in 2004!)
- Career Fair
- National Aboriginal Hockey Championships 2002 & 2003
- Akwesasne Skating Club Ice Show
- Akwesasne Community Prom
- "Strawberry Music Festival"

- Akwesasne Annual International Pow Wow

OFF HIGHWAY 401 - Take Exit 789 "Brookdale Avenue" head toward Cornwall City Centre. Follow Brookdale south to "Bridge To The United States" and cross (International Bridge). Past Toll Booth ($3.00 Canadian - sorry!), go straight to four corners and take a LEFT. Approx 1/2 kilometer, take left on "Phillip Hopps Memorial Road" - Arena sign is posted. Enjoy the Game and The Arena!
